Hey, by then, Winx Club would be celebrating its 15th Anniversary! Maybe Rainbow is purposely holding back season 8 to celebrate it and do something special! Who knows! The company itself is currently celebrating its 20th Anniversary so.ĭon't worry, the years will go fly on by! But in the mean time, there's still plenty of Winx Club stuff going on, plus some other series debuting such as "Royal Academy", a new series coming soon in a few months by Rainbow. Some people think that it may be release in 2018 or 2019. The article stated that Rainbow is planning to expanding in the next 3 to 5 years, meaning that Season 8 will probably be made during that time. And they mentioned a 4th Winx Club movie! They said that they're making a live-action Winx Club film, so it could be the 4th film.or it's its own film and the 4th film is probably animated. We still have plenty of things to look forward to before then! First of all, we still have the spin-off "World of Winx" with 2 seasons, each with 13 episodes coming to Netflix soon. It just felt fast because Nickelodeon has been dragging out season 6, giving them enough time to work on season 7 and ending their contract with Nickelodeon.ĭon't be said that we will have to wait a "few years". And it actually took Rainbow a while to make season 7. Wait, what? Exactly how long is a few years?! And why so long? I want it now!!! Yeah, I know what you're all thinking, but do remember that on average, it takes people at least 9 months to make one episode of an animated show. Well, according to the Una di Noi Winx Club blog, there's an article that states it's possibility release: We will have to wait for Season 8 in "a few years". Looks like we'll be getting the first 13 episodes in Fall 2016 and the other 13 episodes a few months later in 2017.probably in Spring.

Both Netflix and the TV stations that have bought it are pleased. The series will air in the fall with the first 13 episodes at the beginning of 2017, the other 13. The spin-off of Winx Club, World of Winx, is almost ready.
"There’s a co-production underway since two years ago. There's no exact date in fall, so "WoW" could be released in September, October, or even November! This is according to an interview with the creator of Winx Club, Iginio Straffi who stated:

According the Oblivious Prattler on her "Una di Noi" Winx Club blog, there's an article in Italian stating that its release has been pushed back to this fall instead. Okay so a lot of people thought that the spin-off "World of Winx" was going to premiere sometimes in April of 2016 on Netflix. I'm a few days late with this news, but better late than never.
